Hold the fragrance refill bottle upright, unscrew the cap and with the curved side facing you, and slide the bottle into the air freshener until it snaps into place. Always insert the plug-in unit upright into outlets. If necessary, rotate the plug on the back of the unit so that the air freshener is always upright. Ensure nothing is within 12 inches (30cm) above the plug-in unit. To control fragrance strength, press the button on the side of the air freshener. Each click will increase the intensity of the fragrance. To turn on and off the light feature, press and hold the side button for three seconds. Please note that the air freshener will not operate properly if the unit is plugged in sideways or upside down. Do not use in small or poorly ventilated pet areas.

Three stars due to functionality being to confusing . Instructions state to click and hold for light which is very very dim. The scent control is also clicks which I don't care for either. The directions need to be clearer in my opinion . It works well otherwise .

These are fantastic, they are super easy to use - just plug and play basically. The little nightlight adds nice ambience to the dark bedroom and the one-click intensity settings are simple and straight forward. Will never go back to the "other" wall plug ins!

I have just remodeled my kitchen and my cabinets are a beautiful shade of sage green. As soon as I saw this Pistachio Plug-in Nightlight, I had to oder it. I wanted a clean fresh scent for the kitchen, so I chose the Sunset Sparkle plug-in refill. As you can see in my photos, the Plug-in is perfect!

I like the plug-in nightlight, I’m not sure if mine is working correctly but the part where the light is does not work. It lights up when I first plugged it in but the light went off and won’t come back on, not sure if it’s supposed to operate like this or not. I may need to contact customer service about this issue. Other than that, I most certainly like the color and I’m thinking about purchasing more, but need to find out the correct way it operates before purchasing more.
