I should have got this a year ago, but I was afraid it would be a mostly caramel scent. I'm glad to report that's not the case! I've never smelled or tasted a stroopwafel, so I can't compare this to one. But this is a heavenly, sweet, doughy scent! I smell fried dough and powdered sugar, blended with sweet milk chocolate and vanilla! There may be a hint, and I mean a tiny hint, of caramel. I find caramel scents to be rather heavy, even overbearing at times. This is not that way at all. The caramel is an afterthought, the sweet dough, sugar and chocolate are the shining stars here! If you've smelled Carnival Cake (or Funnel Cake before it was re-named), this has the same fried dough and powdered sugar base! Just replace the cinnamon with milk chocolate and this would be what you get!!! To me, this captures the perfect, true bakery scent. If you love sweet scents, stock up on this one!

I'm part Dutch on my mom's side of the family, so I had to have this candle! And it does not disappoint! Good strong throw. And smells yummy!

I love all of my Goose Creek candles, and this definitely is no exception! The tops notes really shine, while the mid and base notes blend in to make it a well-rounded scent. It smells delicious and has a strong throw. I can see it lasting a really long time, which makes it a great value for the price!
